The U.S. Congress Speaks On Crypto
Yesterday the U.S. Congressional Subcommittee on Monetary Policy and Trade had a hearing on major questions around digital currencies. They discussed the implementation of crypto, its underlying technology, blockchain, and tried to figure out whether the Central Bank should launch its own digital currency or not. The conclusions leave much to be desired: the Congressmen admit that digital currency will appear but they are afraid of risks associated with it. Everyone spoke about crypto with caution.
